What You'll Do As a Primrose Teacher, you will: Create a warm, nurturing and positive classroom environment. Provide active supervision and help ensure the health and safety of every child. Implement the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and established daily classroom schedule. Engage children in meaningful, age-appropriate learning experiences. Build positive and professional relationships with children and families. Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, coworkers and the Leadership Team. Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming classroom. Work collaboratively with your co-teacher and other members of the school team. Follow all Primrose School of Avon policies and procedures. Follow all applicable Ohio child care licensing requirements. Maintain required training and professional development. What We're Looking For We are looking for teachers who: Genuinely enjoy working with young children. Are dependable, professional and team-oriented. Understand the importance of consistency and routine in an early childhood classroom. Have strong communication skills. Are willing to learn, grow and receive coaching and feedback. Can maintain active supervision and appropriate classroom ratios. Demonstrate patience, professionalism and a positive attitude. Can work collaboratively as part of a teaching team. Meet all Ohio child care licensing requirements for employment. Previous child care or early childhood education experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
