Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Teachers to inspire and nurture children during their formative years. In this dynamic role, you will lead engaging activities, foster a positive learning environment, and support children's social, emotional, and educational development. Your leadership will ensure that every child feels valued, safe, and motivated to explore their potential. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood education, childhood development, and social skills for school-aged children. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with developmental goals. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques. Foster a safe, nurturing environment by maintaining health and safety standards, including first aid procedures when necessary. Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to support each child's individual needs and progress. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or childcare staff to ensure high-quality care and educational standards are maintained. Organize extracurricular activities such as sports coaching, theater productions, or tutoring sessions to enrich the children's experience. Requirements Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, camp, or tutoring programs. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and behavior management techniques. Demonstrated skills in classroom management, working with students of diverse backgrounds, and fostering inclusive environments. Ability to lead activities involving sports coaching, babysitting skills, theater arts or other extracurriculars that enhance child engagement. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families and team members effectively. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth through nurturing guidance and structured learning experiences. Minimum of CDA or Associates degree in similar field is preferred
