Are you passionate about inspiring young learners and creating meaningful educational experiences? Play Time Early Childhood Enrichment Center is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our exceptional team. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment where children can explore, discover, and grow. You will play a vital role in guiding children's educational journeys while building strong relationships with families and mentoring classroom staff. What You'll Do Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment Assess and monitor children's growth, development, and learning progress Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily experiences Collaborate with administrators and teaching team members Maintain classroom documentation and child assessments using Teaching Strategies GOLD Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and center policies Required Qualifications Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, CDA, or CPL Level 3 in Early Childhood Education or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an early childhood setting Thorough understanding of child development and best practices in preschool education Current or willingness to obtain required ODJFS certifications: CPR First Aid Child Abuse Recognition and Prevention Communicable Disease Training Ability to complete 20 hours of approved Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) training annually Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young children Program Standards The ideal candidate will support and follow: Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) Licensing Regulations Early Childhood Education (ECE) Guidelines Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) 5-Star Standards Healthy Ohio Initiatives Universal Pre-Kindergarten Standards Teaching Strategies
