In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their growth across physical, emotional, social, and cognitive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during these foundational years of a child's life. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, early intervention, and overall childhood development. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, play, and learning for infants and toddlers. Manage daily routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and sensory activities with patience and care. Use effective behavior management techniques to guide positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children. Collaborate with families to share progress updates, address concerns, and support consistent developmental goals. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's milestones, behaviors, and individualized needs in compliance with childcare standards. Qualifications Prior classroom experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare or preschool settings. Curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, colleagues, and community partners. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to child educational excellence.
