Job Description
Daycare Teacher (Afternoon Shift 2:30 PM-6:00 PM) - Wild Roots Preschool & Daycare, Mayfield Heights, OH. We are seeking a reliable and energetic teacher to support our afternoon program. This consistent part-time shift is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children in a structured, end-of-day routine. Responsibilities include supervising children, assisting with transitions, engaging in play and activities, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and supporting closing duties. Candidates should have experience working with children (preferred), strong reliability and punctuality, a positive and team-oriented attitude, and the ability to stay active and lift up to 25 lbs. Dependability is essential, as this shift plays a key role in maintaining ratios and smooth classroom operations. We offer a supportive team environment, free in-house CPR and First Aid certification, CDA training opportunities, employee childcare discounts, and professional development support. This is a part-time, in-person position.
