Job Description
Overview Bright Start Child Care Center has proudly served children and families in our community for over 30 years. We are seeking an experienced child care professional to create and maintain a safe, nurturing and engaging classroom environment that supports our children's growth and development. Duties Maintain a safe, healthy and positive learning environment Supervise children at all times and ensure ratios are maintained Establish classroom routines that promote learning and independence Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques Plan and implement lesson plans using Creative Curriculum Conduct observations and assessments of children's development using Teaching Strategies Gold Communicate with families regarding children's progress Complete daily required documentation Qualifications One of the following: Career Pathways Level 3, CDA, Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Experience working in a licensed child care setting
