Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and classroom activities Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment Lead classroom operations and support assistant teachers and aides Observe, document, and maintain records of children's development and progress Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff Maintain classroom organization and daily schedules Ensure compliance with licensing and safety standards Qualifications Required Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed childcare center or similar setting Ohio Career Pathways Level III certification or Child Development Associate (CDA) certification Ability to pass all required background checks Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field CPR and First Aid Certification Skills for Success Strong communication and relationship-building skills Excellent classroom management and organizational abilities Understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning practices Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to multitask in a fast-paced educational environment What We're Looking For We are seeking educators who are passionate about making a difference in children's lives.
