The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. This position requires an individual who is committed to supporting the developmental needs of children and is skilled in implementing engaging educational activities that promote childhood development. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development. Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Provide individualized care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Collaborate with colleagues to support students with special education needs. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any incidents that occur during class. Qualifications Proven experience in child care or early childhood education, preferably as a teacher or nanny. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols. Experience working with students who require special education support is a plus. Strong behavior management skills to effectively handle various classroom situations. Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff. A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their growth. CDA is strongly desired. Must be willing to obtain CDA if none.
