Role:
The Learning Experience #470 in Pickerington, OH is looking for a passionate and nurturing Experienced Infant Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, loving care and supervision for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment Plan and implement age-appropriate developmental activities aligned with early childhood education curriculum Monitor and document infant milestones, daily activities, feeding, and sleep schedules Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating infant classroom that meets health and safety standards Collaborate with lead teachers and center staff to support a positive learning environment Follow all state licensing regulations and childcare center policies
Requirements:
Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting Knowledge of infant development, SIDS prevention, and safe sleep practices Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification High school diploma required; CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred Warm, patient, and compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for working with infants Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with families Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and carrying infants
