In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers, fostering their curiosity, independence, and social skills. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality care will inspire children to explore and learn through play, while supporting their emotional and physical growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the foundational years of young learners in a dynamic and supportive setting. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for toddlers Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence Monitor and document each child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's daily experiences and developmental progress Support children with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines with patience and care Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques to promote respectful interactions among children Requirements Prior experience working with toddlers or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Strong classroom management skills combined with compassionate caregiving abilities Ability to engage children through playful learning activities while maintaining safety standards Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, team members, and specialists Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every toddler feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
