TLC Academy for Young Children is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Full-Time Child Care Teacher to join our team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about working with young children and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Position Responsibilities Provide a safe, loving, and supportive environment for children. Plan and participate in age-appropriate learning activities, art projects, sensory experiences, music, movement, and outdoor play. Supervise children closely and maintain a safe classroom at all times. Support children's social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs. Follow daily classroom schedules and center policies. Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, rest time, and classroom cleaning as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Communicate professionally and respectfully with families, coworkers, and leadership. Work cooperatively with other teachers and assist throughout the center when needed. Complete required classroom documentation and daily reports. Follow all state licensing, health, and safety requirements. Qualifications Previous experience working in a child care center, preschool, or similar setting is preferred. Must have a genuine love for working with children. Must be dependable, patient, positive, and willing to work as part of a team. Must be able to communicate professionally with children, families, and coworkers. Must be able to meet all state-required background check and training requirements. Must be able to lift and carry children, sit on the floor, bend, stand, and actively participate in classroom activities. High school diploma or equivalent required. Child Development Associate credential or degree in Early Childhood Education is a plus but not required. Schedule Full-time position Monday through Friday No evenings or weekends
