All Candidates must be able to work until 6:00pm Monday through Friday. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys caring for babies, understands the importance of safety and consistency, and wants to be part of a positive early childhood team. Our infant classroom serves children during their first year of life, so we are looking for someone who is gentle, attentive, reliable, and comfortable supporting individual feeding, diapering, sleeping, and daily care routines. The afternoon teacher plays an important role in helping the classroom run smoothly during the second half of the day, supporting teachers, caring for children, helping with end-of-day routines, and communicating warmly with families at pickup. The Part-Time Afternoon Infant Teacher will help: Provide loving and attentive care for infants Support feeding, diapering, bottles, naps, and daily routines Follow each child's individual schedule and family instructions Maintain a safe, clean, calm, and organized infant classroom Follow safe sleep practices at all times Comfort, hold, soothe, and engage with infants throughout the afternoon Assist with tummy time, reading, music, sensory play, and age-appropriate activities Help clean and sanitize toys, cribs, feeding areas, and classroom materials Support classroom teachers with end-of-day routines Communicate professionally and warmly with families at pickup Follow Ohio childcare licensing rules, health and safety procedures, and school policies Qualified candidates should have: Experience working with infants or young children Experience in a licensed childcare center preferred A calm, patient, and nurturing personality Dependability and strong attendance Comfort caring for infants, including diapering, feeding, and soothing The ability to follow routines and written instructions carefully A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Professional communication with families and coworkers A strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and supervision This Position May Be a
