$33,000•$35,000 dependent upon education and experience
Basic Function:
OPPORTUNITY FOR A FULL TIME LEAD TODDLER TEACHER.
Additional Basic Function•if applicable:
THE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER IS THE KENT STATE UNIVERSITY LABORATORY SCHOOL. WE ARE AN AUTHORIZED INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAM WORLD SCHOOL AND A 5-STAR STEP UP TO QUALITY SCHOOL, AS DESIGNATED BY THE STATE OF OHIO.
Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
FULL TIME LEAD TEACHER IN A TODDLER CLASSROOM FOR THE 2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR
(35 WEEKS).
THE SCHOOL FOLLOWS THE KENT STATE UNIVERSITY CALENDAR. SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES ALSO AVAILABLE.
Additional Examples of Duties•if applicable:
LEAD TEACHERS DEVELOP, IMPLEMENT, DOCUMENT AND ASSESSES LEARNING WITHIN A PLAY-BASED, INQUIRY-ORIENTED CURRICULUM. OUTDOOR EDUCATION IS AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF OUR CURRICULUM. TEACHERS COLLABORATE TO BUILD PARTNERSHIPS WITH FAMILIES AND MENTOR PRESERVICE EARLY CHILDHOOD STUDENTS ASSIGNED TO THEIR CLASSROOMS. IN ADDITION, LEAD TEACHERS ARE INVOLVED IN SUPPORTING, CONDUCTING AND DISSEMINATING RESEARCH.
Minimum Qualifications:
MINIMUM OF A BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION OR RELATED FIELD

MASTER'S PREFERRED. AN INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE CERTIFICATE OR WILLINGNESS TO PURSUE AN INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED.
