A Preschool or Childcare Teacher works with young children, usually ages 3 - 5, to help them learn the social, motor and language skills needed to be ready for kindergarten and elementary school. Organizes activities and uses play or games to help children learn; develops schedules and routines for children that include exercise and rest. Works in a school or in a childcare center or program.

Job Description
Teachers with child care and/or educational classroom experience is preferred but not required. Teachers must be able to move from floor to standing, lift children for diaper changes, and perform housekeeping duties in their classroom. Communication is important, and teachers must be able to speak with parents, other staff and children to teach, convey information or perform as part of the team. Teachers will be asked to help in lesson planning and implementation of the plan. If you have made playdough, or played in water with kids, this is the place for you!
