Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Child Enrichment Coordinator to lead engaging activities for children of various ages, from toddlers to elementary school students. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment while planning and implementing developmental activities that promote growth, learning, and fun. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster positive experiences for children and support their overall development. Duties Develops, maintains and implements programs that support and promote cognitive, social and emotional development of the program participants including ASQ follow up referrals. Trains, supervises, evaluates and mentors all Child Care staff members. Ensures staff members are current on their credentialing/training requirements. Successfully meets budget objectives. Oversees rooms and equipment for safety and purchase new equipment and material as needed. Ensures all program operation is consistent with Neighborhood Alliance's procedures including emergency procedures, insurance, accidents, purchasing, personnel and ODJFS Swipe system. Oversee the care, safety, and routine maintenance of childcare program vehicles, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and safe transportation standards. Develop and execute age-appropriate enrichment activities for children across different age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and program updates Maintain a clean, organized activity space that promotes safety and engagement Collaborate with team members to plan special events or themed activities that enhance children's learning experiences Follow all mandated reporting laws and safety protocols related to child protection and incident management Assist with basic caregiving duties such as diapering, feeding, or comforting children as needed Fills in as teacher or driver when needed to maintain compliance with state rules Requirements Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred. Must be able to meet ODJFS Administrator requirements. Experience and knowledge of Ohio Department of Job and Families Child Care licensing regulations along with Step-Up to Quality. Computer literacy in the use of Windows-based programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours. Valid Ohio Driver's License Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or youth programs Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training will be provided if needed Demonstrated ability to plan engaging activities tailored to various age groups Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Classroom experience or early childhood education background highly desirable Join us to make a meaningful difference in children's lives through vibrant programming and compassionate care!

Pay:

$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
