This position is specifically for an individual seeking full-time employment (40 hours/week), being a co-lead teacher in a classroom, and working with children 2-3 years in age in a preschool setting. Here is what we offer:
Current Salary Range:
between $16.00-$21.00/hourly pay (based on education level) Hours of work each day: 8 hour work shift Same set daily work shift each day, for consistency and planning Annual pay raises (actually 2 pay raises in the first year) Potential quarterly incentive bonuses worth an extra $1-$3/hour more in pay for all hours worked during the quarters Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance Paid time off and holiday pay, paid vacation time during the annual December holiday season (school is closed from Dec 24-Jan 1) Paid employee background checks, employee trainings, and continuing education credits (CEUs) Generous employee childcare discounts 401k retirement plan plus employer matching contributions Employee referral bonuses 1-hour daily lunch breaks Occasional employer-provided lunches No weekend work (school is closed on Saturdays and Sundays) All teacher supplies and equipment Teacher Appreciation Month in May Our preschool teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Preschool teachers plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment and work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service. Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or a child-related degree) is preferred Associates degree in Early Childhood Education (or a child-related degree) Current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching credential Currently enrolled in a CDA or degreed program Has knowledge of childcare programming, safety and emergency first-aid procedures, program management and customer service principles About Goddard Schools The Goddard School located in Macedonia, Ohio has been open for 16 years and has approximately 140 children under our care. As part of a larger franchise system, in operation for over 30 years, we are the premiere preschool for children six weeks to six years old.
