Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, dependable and adaptable Afternoon Floater to support our early childhood education program. This role involves providing flexible classroom coverage, assisting with curriculum implementation, and supporting the overall development and well-being of children. Duties Provide coverage across multiple classrooms during afternoon hours, ensuring continuity of instruction and activities Assist with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers Support classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and engagement among children Implement educational activities focused on literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development Support children with special needs through early intervention techniques and individualized attention Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes child welfare and development Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations and effective communication with parents Assist with classroom setup, materials preparation, and organization of educational resources Support children's social skills development through play, communication, and behavior management strategies Qualifications Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including daycare or preschool environments Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and behavior management techniques Background in early childhood education Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or tutoring techniques Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff Ability to adapt quickly to changing classroom needs and provide flexible support across multiple classrooms Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred This role is vital in creating a positive learning environment that supports the growth and development of young children.
