The Learning Experience in New Albany, OH is looking for a passionate and nurturing Childcare Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:

Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children Monitor and document child progress, behavior, and milestones Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with licensing and health standards Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive learning community Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and transitions

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Previous experience in a childcare, preschool, or early education setting preferred Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare licensing requirements Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with children
