Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and achievements to build strong partnerships. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct assessments of child development milestones and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure the safety of all children in your care. Skills Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings or childcare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including special education and early intervention strategies. Skilled in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and child welfare practices. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to implement standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress. Experience teaching physical education activities that promote motor skills development. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire. Familiarity with preschool teaching standards, private school environments, and mandated reporting laws. Knowledge of behavior management techniques tailored for young children with diverse needs.
