This dynamic role offers the opportunity to support and enhance the learning environment across multiple classrooms, ensuring every child's developmental needs are met with enthusiasm and care. As a float, you'll bring flexibility, energy, and a nurturing spirit to a variety of age groups, from infants to preschoolers. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive atmosphere for children, families, and staff alike. This paid position is perfect for someone passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a meaningful difference every day. Duties Provide consistent supervision and care for children across different classrooms, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with classroom activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, storytime, and educational exercises that promote childhood development Support teachers by helping with diapering, feeding, nap routines, and behavior management strategies tailored to each child's needs Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's daily experiences, milestones, and any concerns Help implement classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and social skills among children Adhere strictly to mandated reporting laws and health and safety protocols such as first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and emergency procedures Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and growth Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare centers or preschool settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction, early childhood education principles, and classroom management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Ability to work flexibly across multiple classrooms while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm Passion for teaching young children and supporting their social-emotional growth through engaging activities Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels children's curiosity!
