Job Overview Daycare opening in the next two months!!! Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Child Care Lead, Assistant, or Substitute Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in nurturing young minds, fostering a safe and engaging learning environment, and supporting children's developmental milestones. Whether leading classroom activities, assisting with daily routines, or stepping in as a substitute, your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development. Manage classroom behavior and create a positive environment that encourages curiosity and respect among children. Support children's individual needs through tailored child development instruction and early intervention strategies. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behaviors, and achievements to foster strong partnerships. Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining first aid and CPR certifications, and following health protocols. Assist with daily routines such as meal times, diapering or toileting, nap times, and classroom organization. Collaborate with team members to develop lesson plans that incorporate childhood development best practices and standardized testing when applicable. Qualifications Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred. Knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Background in early childhood education, preschool teaching, or toddler/infant care is desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged. Ability to follow mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations. Prior experience with private schools or preschool environments is a plus.
