• Part-time, Full-time Description Summary First and foremost, Bumble Bees Academy provides children with constant and alert supervision in a safe environment, screened from hazards.

The large classroom with designated area for learning centers provides for both quiet and active play. Our entire program is designed to enable children to have a positive self-concept and to know success and fulfillment through programs of positive self-concept, and to experience success from the beginning. This is possible because our Academy environment provides children the opportunity to be safe in their quest as natural leaders. Duties Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Maintain Daily attendance records, class schedule, incident report documentation, curriculum, allergy lists and any other documentation required by the director Attend Staff meetings and in-service training Practice emergency and evacuation procedures with the children Speak to children in a soft, reassuring voice Address behavioral issues to the director Follow daily schedule and provide children with consistency and a fun, loving learning environment Clean and organize classroom area, sanitize toys and surfaces as required throughout the day Know and practice Bumble Bees Academy Policies and state rules and regulations Speak professionally to the parents Constantly use words of encouragement to help children discover self-worth and esteem. Maintain sanitary conditions and follow all procedures related to always cleaning the rooms/toys etc for the children. Follow all rules/procedures regarding handwashing and other state requirements regarding personal hygiene. Allow children to explore through art, science, math, language, transportation play, drama, and large motor. Conduct meal counts and other tasks as required related to the food program.
