Job Description

Ginghamsburg Preschool and Childcare Center is looking for teacher candidates in the following areas: Preschool - Age 3-4 years
Accountable To:
Center Director Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p
Education & Experience:
Required:
Minimum of current Child Development Associates Certification (CDA) OR Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field 1-2 years of experience teaching children ages preschool through
Kindergarten Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Related Field Requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: Have the ability to plan and implement methods of establishing a positive partnership with the child's parents. Have the ability to evaluate on an on-going basis the social/emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual developmental stages of an individual child. Demonstrate the ability to create and effectively implement age appropriate lessons. Understand a child's social/emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual developmental needs. In-service trainings First Aid and CPR Communicable Disease and Child Abuse Classes 10 hours of State required classes each year of employment Employee must be physically fit to work with children, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and mobile enough to fully and comfortably engage with children
