Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare concerns; maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and parent communication efforts to foster a cohesive learning community. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting; familiarity with toddler care and preschool teaching is highly preferred. Strong understanding of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and classroom management techniques. Knowledge of curriculum development, literacy education, standardized testing (if applicable), and teaching physical education or math to young learners. Certification in first aid and CPR; ongoing training in child welfare laws is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively. Ability to plan engaging lessons through lesson planning expertise while adapting to diverse student needs. Experience working with special education populations or implementing early intervention programs is a plus. Demonstrated professionalism in maintaining classroom safety standards, adhering to mandated reporting laws, and fostering a positive learning environment.
