The ideal candidate must be able to create and implement engaging lesson plans , provide a fun and nurturing learning environment, and work well with children and families. Experience working with children is preferred. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Lead daily classroom activities that promote active learning, creativity, and positive behavior management strategies. Foster a nurturing environment that supports toddler care, preschool teaching, and special education needs through individualized attention and tailored instructional approaches. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and collaborate on supporting each child's growth. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child welfare incidents and developmental assessments. Manage classroom behavior effectively by employing positive reinforcement techniques and classroom management best practices. Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality instruction and a safe learning environment. Experience Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or toddler care environments. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing child development instruction across diverse age groups. Knowledge of special education strategies, early intervention programs, and standardized testing procedures relevant to young learners. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members using excellent communication skills. Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management tools. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in early childhood education or preschool teaching are highly preferred. Prior experience working in private schools or similar educational institutions is advantageous but not mandatory.
