Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to toddler development stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activities, and early intervention strategies Lead daily classroom activities that promote social skills, behavior management, and emotional well-being of young children Ensure adherence to child development standards, mandated reporting laws, and health and safety regulations including first aid and CPR protocols Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and foster positive relationships Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, behavior management, and maintaining a stimulating learning environment Collaborate with colleagues to design inclusive lesson plans that support children with special education needs or additional developmental requirements Maintain accurate records of child progress, assessments, and standardized testing results while ensuring compliance with privacy policies Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings, especially with toddlers aged 1-3 years Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and preschool teaching methodologies Proven classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members clearly and compassionately Ability to plan lessons that integrate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional learning Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare practices to ensure safety and compliance Experience teaching physical education activities that promote motor skills development in young children Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in special education or early intervention are a plus Join us in shaping the future by providing a joyful, safe, and enriching environment for our youngest learners.
