Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Part-Time Floater to join our early childhood education team! This energetic role is perfect for someone passionate about nurturing young children and eager to support classroom teachers across various settings. As a Floater, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children while ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities Provide child supervision and support in multiple classrooms, adapting to different age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Assist with child development activities, implementing age-appropriate curriculum and behavior management strategies Support classroom management by maintaining a safe and clean environment, following health and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR when neede Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure consistent routines, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and playtime Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and report any concerns appropriately Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar early childhood settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development instruction and classroom management techniques Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified Familiarity with behavior management strategies and early childhood education best practices Strong communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork within a classroom environment Join us as a Part-Time Floater and make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while enjoying the rewarding experience of supporting their growth and development!
