Responsibilities Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences. Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards. Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving tasks for infants and toddlers. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and conflict resolution among children. Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of abuse or neglect and reporting concerns appropriately. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere that fosters learning and fun. Skills Experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Ability to plan engaging activities suited to different developmental stages. Strong child supervision skills with an emphasis on safety and behavior management. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. First aid and CPR certification to ensure quick response in emergencies. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare. Previous experience in daycare, classroom teaching, babysitting, nannying or youth programs is preferred.

Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 per week
