Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum focused on infant milestones, including sensory exploration, motor skills, language acquisition, and social-emotional development. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they are engaging, safe, and aligned with best practices in early childhood education. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff, fostering a collaborative team environment that emphasizes continuous improvement. Conduct regular assessments of infants' progress, documenting developmental milestones and communicating updates with families. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence. Collaborate with families to develop individualized care plans that support each child's growth and well-being. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, including child welfare policies and emergency procedures. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and early intervention strategies. Strong curriculum development skills with experience in literacy education, math basics, physical education, and Montessori methods. Proven classroom management expertise to create a positive learning environment while managing behavior effectively. Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds, including special education needs. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, staff, and community partners. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate standardized testing preparation where appropriate for age-appropriate assessments. Familiarity with childcare regulations, daycare standards, preschool experience, and private school environments.
