Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a guiding leader in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow while supporting their developmental milestones. As a Lead Teacher, you will collaborate with fellow educators to implement engaging curriculum plans that promote social-emotional growth, cognitive development, and physical well-being. Duties Develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and developmental goals for infants and toddlers Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages exploration, independence, and social interaction among young children Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring safety at all times Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social skills and emotional regulation Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, routines, and individual needs to support ongoing development assessments Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or caregiver staff to ensure high-quality classroom management and instructional support Communicate regularly with families about their child's milestones, daily activities, and any concerns or observations Experience Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a classroom or daycare setting is essential Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles specific to early childhood stages Experience with classroom management techniques that foster a safe and engaging learning environment Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are highly valued Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and community partners to support children's growth Familiarity with early childhood education curricula, behavior management strategies, and caregiving best practices Previous nannying or babysitting experience working closely with young children will be considered an asset Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to nurturing the potential of every child.
