Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher for our 2.5 to 3 year old toddlers . Your goal is to inspire and nurture some of the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will lead a dynamic classroom dedicated to toddlers, fostering their growth through engaging activities, thoughtful lesson planning, and compassionate care. Your expertise will help create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. As a leader in our educational community, you will collaborate with colleagues and families to support each child's unique journey toward independence and curiosity. Responsibilities Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to toddlers' needs, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and Montessori principles when applicable. Lead classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, behavior management, and early childhood development milestones. Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, potty training support, meal times, and nap schedules with patience and professionalism. Foster positive relationships with children by providing attentive care, encouraging exploration, and supporting individual learning styles. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and share strategies for continued development at home. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides to ensure high-quality classroom management and consistent implementation of educational plans. Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and standardized testing results while adhering to child welfare policies and safety regulations. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, especially with toddlers. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and early intervention practices. Familiarity with curriculum development methods including literacy education, math activities, physical education, and Montessori approaches. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Classroom management expertise with the ability to create an organized yet flexible learning environment. Prior experience in preschool education or private school settings is preferred. Certification in early childhood education or related fields; additional training in special education or child welfare is a plus.
