Role:

Viola & Virsies Learning in Zanesville, OH is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Toddler Teacher to join their growing team! Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for toddler-aged children Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and growth Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant classroom in accordance with state childcare regulations Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or preschool setting Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain Ability to pass a background check as required by Ohio childcare licensing standards Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills Warm, energetic, and team-oriented personality with a genuine love for working with young children
