Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Design and implement age-appropriate activities that foster early childhood education, social skills, and creativity. Ensure children's safety by adhering to all health and safety guidelines, including first aid procedures when necessary. Support children's emotional well-being through positive behavior management techniques and personalized caregiving approaches. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with best practices in childcare. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily updates on their child's progress and needs. Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages exploration while ensuring safety standards are met at all times. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in working with individuals with disabilities or behavior management are a plus. Demonstrated ability to care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with patience and enthusiasm. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, team members, and community resources. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
