Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Daycare Closing Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children during the closing hours of our daycare facility. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a positive experience for children and their families while maintaining high standards of childcare and classroom management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' development while working in a supportive, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Supervise children during the final hours of the daycare day, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional growth Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment suitable for toddlers and preschoolers Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's daily experiences and any concerns that arise Enforce classroom rules and behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions among children Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other caregiving duties as needed during closing hours Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom setting Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Passion for nurturing children's growth and creating a positive learning atmosphere Join us to help shape young minds in a lively environment where your dedication makes a difference!
