Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood education principles, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction while maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Foster strong communication with children, parents, and colleagues to support child welfare and ensure a collaborative approach to education. Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable to monitor developmental progress and inform instructional adjustments. Maintain detailed records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities to support ongoing learning objectives. Skills Proven experience in classroom management within early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development milestones and best practices in early intervention and special education. Expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methods. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children of various ages and backgrounds as well as their families. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate innovative teaching techniques like tutoring or differentiated instruction for diverse learners. Familiarity with classroom experience in private schools or daycare centers that emphasize child welfare and holistic development. Competence in using standardized testing results to guide instructional strategies and support student growth.
