The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and educational environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning. Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Manage classroom activities, maintaining a positive and structured environment conducive to learning. Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior and promote social skills. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss children's progress and address any concerns. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, following all health and safety regulations. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles. Experience with special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Familiarity with classroom management techniques. Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred. Background in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable. Communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when needed. A nurturing attitude towards children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
