Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant - Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children during their formative years. Your primary focus will be to support early development through meaningful interactions, structured activities, and individualized care. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in infants and toddlers. Provide attentive care that meets the unique needs of each child, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as necessary. Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization conducive to active learning and exploration. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong partnerships. Incorporate best practices in behavior management and classroom management to encourage positive interactions among children. Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare or safety. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development instruction, literacy education, special education strategies, and early intervention techniques. Skills Extensive knowledge of child development principles specific to infants and toddlers. Proven experience working with children in daycare settings or early childhood education environments. Strong curriculum development skills tailored for early learners with an understanding of Montessori methods or preschool teaching approaches. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a nurturing atmosphere. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction, team collaboration, and team leadership when needed. Familiarity with childhood education standards, including standardized testing procedures and early intervention programs. Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are required; additional qualifications in special education or behavior management are preferred. Experience with lesson planning that integrates literacy education, math concepts, physical education activities, and preschool experience.
