Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development Supervise children during playtime, meal times, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and well-being Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating environment Engage children with educational games, arts and crafts, storytime, and hands-on learning experiences Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns regarding child safety or well-being Assist with classroom routines such as diapering, potty training, and setting up learning materials Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to ensure quick response in emergencies Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and support individual needs Excellent communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and adhere to mandated reporting laws Experience in toddler care, infant care, or nannying enhances your ability to connect with diverse age groups Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for teaching young children can flourish!
