Duties Lead daily classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development tailored specifically for toddlers. Monitor and document each child's progress, communicating regularly with parents and guardians about developmental milestones. Collaborate with co-teachers to ensure high-quality care and educational consistency. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety drills, first aid procedures, and emergency responses as needed to ensure the well-being of all children. Collaborate with colleagues to plan special activities that support inclusive learning experiences for children with diverse needs or disabilities. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, special education strategies, and caregiving best practices. Skills Proven experience working with children in educational settings, especially with toddlers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies. Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with emergency response procedures. Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities or developmental delays. Excellent classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and create an inclusive environment. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and caregivers from diverse backgrounds. Experience in caregiving roles that demonstrate patience, attentiveness, and nurturing qualities. Knowledge of behavior management techniques tailored for young children to promote cooperation and emotional regulation.
