Childcare & Preschool Aide Hope Learning Center | Albany, Oregon Part-Time Positions Available Hope Learning Center is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic Childcare & Preschool Aides to join our team! We are a faith-based early childhood development center committed to helping children learn to thrive—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Our Aides play an important role in supporting teachers and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years . Position Responsibilities Assist classroom teachers with daily activities, routines, and transitions Provide attentive supervision and maintain a safe environment for children Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning, sensory, and educational activities Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, handwashing, and other daily care needs Support children's social-emotional development and positive behavior Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Follow all Oregon childcare licensing requirements and center policies Communicate respectfully and professionally with children, families, and staff Participate as a positive and dependable member of the teaching team Required Qualifications Must be registered with the Oregon Central Background Registry (CBR), or be willing and eligible to complete CBR registration immediately upon hire. CBR registration is required before working in the classroom. Must be at least 18 years old Must pass all required background checks and meet Oregon childcare licensing requirements Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team A genuine interest in working with young children Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing attitude Please note: Oregon CBR registration is a required part of employment in a licensed childcare setting. Applicants who are not currently registered should be prepared to begin the registration process promptly.
