In this role, you will design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, lead daily activities, and foster social, emotional, and academic growth. You will mentor assistant teachers, partner closely with families, and ensure compliance with all licensing and safety standards. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with Kinder Care curriculum and state standards. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom that supports social, emotional, and academic growth. Lead daily classroom activities, including circle time, literacy, math, art, and play-based learning. Observe, assess, and document children's progress; communicate regularly with families about milestones and concerns. Mentor and guide assistant teachers, modeling best practices in classroom management and instruction. Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies. Collaborate with center leadership and colleagues to plan programs, events, and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage classroom routines, schedules, and transitions to ensure a structured, engaging learning environment.
