We are looking for the right person to provide and maintain a loving caregiving environment to our youngest. The children in this class are 6 weeks up to 18 months years of age. You would be teamed up with an experienced co-Teacher. New Dream Family Center is a Reggio inspired program focused on Latinx culture and language, as well as emphasis in STEM and the natural world! This position requires the ability to stand and stoop and change positions often with the ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds. This is a fast paced teamwork environment. Preferably, This is a full time position. The shift is Monday through Friday with shifts ranging between 7:30am-5:30pm. We will consider two part time positions for applicants that are Teacher qualified based on the requirements of the Oregon Early Learning Division 414-300-0100 Teacher, Table 2 Qualifications for teacher, Options A,B, C or D&E. This position will collaborate with management and other teaching staff to create warm and stimulating environments filled with different sights, sounds, textures, and sensations while fostering the individual child's needs in collaboration with the following: Comfort and support children through one-on-one moments of basic needs, play and communication. Maintains a safe, clean, care-giving environment, practices good personal hygiene and hand washing, and assures the well-being and safety of all of the children in that environment.
