Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to foster their growth and development through play, learning activities, and positive interactions. This role is essential in providing quality care and support to children of various ages, ensuring their well-being while promoting their emotional and social development. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting. Educate children on basic life skills, social interactions, and behavior management. Maintain a clean and organized play area, ensuring safety at all times. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities. Manage classroom dynamics to encourage positive behavior among children. Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents, utilizing first aid knowledge when necessary. Experience Previous experience in childcare settings. Familiarity with infant care practices is highly desirable. Enrolled in the Criminal Background Registry Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus. Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques are beneficial. A genuine love for working with children and the ability to connect with them on their level. Experience working with diverse groups of children is advantageous.
