Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong partnerships. Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly and appropriately. Administer basic first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary, ensuring children receive prompt care in case of minor injuries. Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities, utilizing experience in special education and behavior management techniques. Qualifications Proven experience working with children across various settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is highly preferred. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively.
