Preschool Teachers - Waypoint Early Learning Waypoint Early Learning is a Christian-based childcare center seeking two nurturing, reliable, and playful preschool teachers to join our team! We are a child-centered program that values curiosity, connection, and learning through play while incorporating Bible stories and Christian values into our curriculum. If you love getting messy, reading stories, supporting children through big emotions, and creating a safe and joyful classroom, this might be the perfect fit for you! What You'll Do Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment. Plan and lead age-appropriate, play-based learning activities. Incorporate Bible stories and Christian values into classroom activities. Support children's social-emotional development. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom. Communicate with families positively and professionally. Collaborate with a supportive team of early childhood educators. We're Looking for Someone Who Has experience working with young children; preschool experience is preferred. Is patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with children. Can remain calm, positive, and flexible in a busy environment. Values kindness, connection, and play-based learning. Communicates and works well with children, families, and coworkers. Requirements Must be enrolled in Oregon's Central Background Registry. Must have current CPR and First Aid certification. Must have a current Oregon Food Handler Card. Must meet Oregon childcare licensing requirements or be willing to complete them within the required timelines. Must complete required health and safety trainings and participate in the Oregon Registry. What We Offer A supportive, team-oriented work environment.
