Preschool Teacher for 3 or 4 year-olds First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem Preschool and Extended Care Bethlehem, PA Job Details Part-time From $19.30 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance Flexible spending account Vision insurance Qualifications Teaching Certification Spiritual guidance Cleaning Associate's degree Classroom Teaching Early Childhood Education Full Job Description The First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem Preschool and Extended Care has been providing quality preschool and extended care experiences to young children, ages 2-4, for more than 50 years. We have two open positions for preschool teachers, both for teaching three-year-olds or four-year-olds. Hours - Monday through Friday 8:45 to 12:15. This is including an hour for planning and preparation. More hours may be available Pay - New lead teachers start at $19.20 per hour and then increase to $20.00 in the second year.
Responsibilities of these two positions:
Plan and lead age-appropriate learning activities with lead teacher Share in record-keeping, parent meetings, set-up and clean-up, and other classroom tasks Attend monthly staff meetings and at least two in-service trainings per year
Qualifications:
Must have certification in Elementary or Early Childhood Education An Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education is acceptable Must have - or be willing to obtain all clearances required by the state of Pennsylvania Must be comfortable sharing her/his faith and praying before snack, etc. with the children.
