Full Job Description Position:
Teacher/Child Care Center Hours:
7:00AM-4:00PM, 8:00AM-5:00PM Position Overview We are expanding and are recruiting positions for all ages from 4 weeks old - 11 years old. The Teacher is responsible for the safety, care and education of the children assigned. • Principal Accountabilities Provide a safe and creative space for the educational development of the children. Serves as a liaison between teachers, children and parents. Endeavor to carry themselves with integrity, excellence and display work ethics. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible, at all times, for the care and safety of the children. Plan, supervise, and implement daily curriculum and activities for the program. Responsible for requisitioning supplies, and for the care, storage and organization of supplies and program materials. Attends all team meetings and recommends training programs. Responsible for maintaining each child's portfolio that tracks developmental progress. Participates in all special events conducted by the center. Responsible for insuring that all team members assigned to the program complete their mandatory training requirements. Assist the Center Director or Assistant Center Director in conducting evaluations of assistant teachers and aides assigned to their program. Communicate with parents on a daily basis in proactive manner. Maintains program and assigned areas in clean, neat and orderly manner. Other duties assigned by the Center Director or Assistant Center Director.
