Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Afternoon Infant Teacher to join our vibrant team at our Grandview location. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants during the afternoon hours. Your passion for early childhood education and child development will help lay a strong foundation for our youngest learners, ensuring they feel loved, supported, and inspired to explore. Responsibilities Supervise and care for infants in a nurturing and attentive manner during afternoon hours Implement age-appropriate activities that promote infant growth, including sensory play, tummy time, and early motor skill development Maintain a safe environment by adhering to all safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences, milestones, and needs Follow classroom management strategies to support positive behavior and social-emotional development Document developmental progress and observations to share with families and team members Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and health regulations at all times Experience Prior experience working with infants in a childcare setting or daycare center is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with child supervision, behavior management, and classroom organization Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) Familiarity with special education needs or experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Classroom experience in preschool or daycare environments demonstrating effective classroom management techniques Join us to make a meaningful impact on young lives!
