Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire growth, curiosity, and a love for learning. In this dynamic role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your expertise in early childhood education will help lay a strong foundation for children's future success while fostering their creativity and independence. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, numeracy, physical activity, and social skills in preschool-aged children. Create a welcoming classroom atmosphere that supports children's emotional well-being and encourages positive behavior management. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, sensory activities, and early intervention strategies. Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations, standardized testing, and documentation to tailor instruction accordingly. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental milestones, behavioral concerns, and progress updates effectively. Manage classroom routines, transitions, and activities to ensure a safe and organized learning environment. Support children with special needs by adapting lessons for inclusive education and working closely with specialists when necessary. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Experience in curriculum development with a focus on literacy education, math skills, and physical education. Proven classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and maintain discipline constructively. Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including toddlers and those requiring special education or early intervention services. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in preschool settings. Hands-on experience in daycare or private school environments with preschool-aged students. Knowledge of Montessori teaching methods or other specialized early childhood frameworks is a plus.
