Monday-Friday | No nights or weekends Carlisle Early Education Center (CEEC) is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to join our team. CEEC is a nonprofit, DHS-licensed, Keystone STARS 4 early learning center that has served Carlisle families since 1968. Our toddler classrooms are active, playful, and filled with opportunities for children to learn, build confidence, and develop new skills. What You'll Do Create a safe, welcoming, and nurturing toddler classroom Plan and provide age-appropriate learning experiences Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development Encourage independence, confidence, and positive social skills Assist with meals, diapering, potty training, handwashing, naps, and outdoor play Use positive, developmentally appropriate guidance Supervise children closely and maintain required staff-to-child ratios Observe children's development and complete required documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and properly sanitized classroom Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and center leadership Attend staff meetings, professional development, and required training Follow CEEC policies and Pennsylvania childcare health, safety, and licensing requirements What We're Looking For A genuine love of working with toddlers and young children Patience, dependability, professionalism, and a positive attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills The ability to remain calm and attentive in a busy toddler classroom Previous childcare or early childhood education experience is preferred Early Childhood Education coursework, a CDA, or a related credential is a plus Must meet applicable Pennsylvania childcare staff qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to obtain all required Pennsylvania clearances and health documentation Must be able to safely perform the physical responsibilities of working with toddlers Why Join CEEC?
